WOW!!!! What a day! Kent, Devin, Blaine, Richard, and CJ all worked hard and did great in their individual brackets!

Nice Job at Brighton this past week!

Kent- 2nd
Devin- 2nd
Blaine- 4th
CJ- 3rd
Richard- 5th

Total of 3 pins amongst them! AWESOME job, boys! 
Along with all their performances, the boys also got a better
understanding of the strengths and weaknessess and are ready to go next week and hit practices hard in preparation for their next challenge!

Detroit Catholic Central's 2X All Stater Nick Mason was the guest clinician  @ WWC. Thank you Nick for a great session. Nick was once a Jr. Wolverine himself. "These young gus are looking great.  Keep up the good work!  If you hang with the Jr. Wolverine WC, you can hang with anyone!  "  I always liked it when we had guest coaches come in- it was a nice change of pace.  I found those sessions very helpful in my develpoment as a young wrestler."

We have an unusally large number of of young light weights.  If you have  a little guy, bring him by!  If you can find a club with one  kid the same sizethat is good.  If you can find three Wow!  To have a small bull pen  is a bonus.  These kids are going to be tough  someday.

We now have one week under our belts.  This young group is looking great and determined.  Keep up the great work. 
This group has about 35 kids on the roster.   We will take up to 50 kids- space is limited.   Wade we love your focus...

We are now accepting application for Fall 2011.  

Fall session will begin Thursday September 8th. We will follow our standard practice schedule of
Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6p-7:30p. Primary focus will be on continued conditioning/endurance
as well as skills building and situational wrestling to help prepare for tournament season after the first of the year.
